House building…………. : )

 

if you have a portable DVD player and a chair, along with a few tractors you have a free baby sitter for about an hour but unfortunately this entertainment doesn’t last forever. i think davin is officially sick of the new house! we are moving in one toy at a time :)

i wish i had a picture of his bed from this night. we hauled up his new mattress from the basement and set it up in our bedroom with some hoodies and a blanket… he wasn’t too happy at 11:30 pm when we had to wake him up to take him to his real bed : )

 

best outfit i own. yes a FFA sweatshirt and blue shop towels taped to my pants, you know you love it : )  i am going to patent the idea of taping those towels to pants. I HATE CAULKING… ughhhh and finish work and painting all together.

YAY garage door! I love how the paint turned out on it. They did such a good job !!!!

More House Stuff

Well the tile is down! wahoo! and all the baseboards are up , wahoo!! The closet shelves are in, wahoo! now that just leaves me a lot of puttying and caulking to do… : ( we are excited to be getting a tiny bit closer to finished. but still plenty of work ahead.

Scrubbing tile. ….. well really davin was just making a mess.

MOTHERS DAY 2010

Saturday we had gone up to heber for a BBQ with my dad’s family and to see my mom and grandma barker.. then sunday we just got to relax and enjoy our day. we went to grandma sorensens and to salem pond to feed the ducks.

Haven’t posted many recent pictures of the house, the inside is all mudded and ready for tile, finish work and paint. if only i could just decide on tile and paint. We have shingles and Steve and Dad Started working on the outside today  (don’t worry it isn’t painted yet . my house isn’t going to be grey! :)
