May 30 – June 2nd

We went camping and fishing to Yuba Lake for a few days with the kids. They loved camping right on the beach so they could play in the water all day. Adi enjoyed another camping trip. She is still probably thinking the camp trailer is her house. :)

Memorial Day 2013- West Desert/Topaz Mountain

May 23-27, 2013

For memorial day we headed out to the west desert with my family. We had outgrown our little trailer by adding Adilyn to the family, so before we went we found an awesome trailer for a great deal that we couldn’t pass up. – We figured it was time to get a new one and hopefully we will get to use it a lot with me being off work for the summer.

We had tons of fun. We camped by Topaz mountain. We mined geodes and hunted for topaz. We found some awesome geodes and polished some up at camp with grandpa’s supplies he brought. We found horny toads, lizards, tarantulas, and a rattle snake. We rode motorcycles, played games and ate lots of yummy food. Adilyn has almost lived away from home as much as she has at home since she’s been born. She did great camping for only being 2 1/2 weeks old.
