Pumpkin Carving Party - OCT 26, 2008

Today we had my sister and her kids and my mom come over to carve our pumpkins that we got at the Pumpkin Patch Yesterday.

Then we decided to cook some pizza and bake some sugar cookies to decorate.

Cache and Collin were quite excited about their pumpkins, but they were probably more excited that their mom let them play with knives (the cheapo pumpkin carving ones).

Davin even got a little taste of the sugar cookies.

End result of the pumpkins

PUMPKIN PATCH - OCT 25, 2008

Today we took Davin over to the Pumpkin Patch in Springville with my sister Cher and her kids to choose us some pumpkins for the carving party tomorrow.

There was an old FORD truck there with the back full of pumpkins. It turned out to be cute for pictures.

YAY RICE CEREAL

Pictures of Davin enjoying his rice cereal for the 1st time. It wasn't as big of a mess as I thought it was going to be.

Deer Hunt - 2008

We spent this weekend with Steve's family Deer Hunting, this year we broke tradition and didn't go to Big Mountain. we ended up mirror lake highway and over to soapstone. Most of the family was there and it was nice to have a little sun instead of the freezing cold.

Davin enjoying the hunt.

Davin and Mom

All bundled up.

Davin's 1st horse ride, he loved it can you tell?

Didn't see any deer but there were moose sightings right across from camp.

Davin's 4 Month Update

It feels like yesterday I was writing Davin's 3 month update. Each month with him just flys right by. Davin is 4 months old now and changing all the time. He is starting to like toys and playing with things that are near him, and He loves stretch- his toy elephant that is hooked to his car seat. He can officially roll over, eat rice cereal, stick his finger down his throat and gag himself, drool so much that he looks like he dumped a gallon of water on his shirt, wear 6 month old clothes, scream at you when you talk to him, and sleep through the night! YAY!!! He is definitely keeping us busy.

Davin's Blessing- Sept. 28

We decided to wait until last sunday to have Davin's blessing so that Steve's brothers from Japan and Montana could be there. We had it at Steve's parents house because there were so many people. I think there were about 75 people altogether and 19 guys in the circle. It was a little warm for having it outside but everthing turned out good and it was a great day. Davin looked cute with his mini white tie and church clothes. He is growing up so fast.

50 Years - September 27

This past weekend was a busy one. Steve's parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversery! We threw them a big 50's themed party with the family and some close friends. It was so much fun. Everyone worked hard to pull it all together especially steve's 2 sisters Kim and Kate. I etched 85 gobblets for favors and helped Steve put together the gift. The program was way cute. The grandkids all did something. The aunt's sang and danced. And Steve and all of his brothers dressed up and sang King of the road. It was pretty funny. I don't have pictures up of it but I will post them as soon as I get them off the camera.
