Steve and I took a mini Vacation to Vegas for our anniversary. We stayed at the New York , New York . We had a ton of fun taking a break from the house and work even if it was 110 degrees while we were there. Davin got to stay with Grandpa Hugh and Grandma Alex for the weekend! We spent some time Gambling and touring around, but mostly we just ate at buffets and had a ton of food. i think we ate 4 plates of crab legs one night at the RIO… : )

Well we are getting closer. The paint is done the cabinets are in the appliances are there but it is still quite a mess over there. all the masking was not fun but the white ceilings and tan walls made it worth it..

the “mustard” color cabinets that everyone was so worried about for the laundry room and desk…. steve told everyone they were the color of the grey poupon mustard bottle… but they aren’t!! :)
a lot of cleaning up to do!!
davin really doesn’t like going to the new house so he sits out in the truck and drives it while we are there.

ok the outside color was quite the process… you probably won’t believe me but i think i am now the proud owner of every shade of green color of that sherwin willimas makes. i probably have 30 quarts of different greens and i am not kidding.. i need to take a picture of all the containers in the garage. and then i picked one.. well i got home from work and bawled my eyes out because half the house was painted and I HATED IT!!! finally it worked out and the paint on the outside is done.. now we just need the rock and soffit so we can get everything looking like it matches and works together.
i will get pictures up of the countertops tomorrow ! :)
