Christmas Time! December 1, 2011
We are really excited for Christmas. We have the tree up, Fireplace going, lights hung outside and counting down the days with a chocolate calendar! Davin is quite excited about christmas this year too. The commercials are definitely doing their job because he wants everything he sees on TV for Christmas this year. The night we put up our tree we read a christmas book as a family and it was talking about Santa living at the North pole. That confused Davin quite a bit. He looked at Steve and I and said "He doesn't live at the North Pole, he lives at the mall!" So cute! He helped decorate the tree and clumped all of his ornaments together in one place on the bottom! Steve surprised me last week with a Date night and Roses! He also hung all the christmas lights on the house while I was at work! We went out to Los Hermanos and went out shopping to get the rest of the kids christmas done! Thanks Grandma and Kate for watching the kids! Can't wait for Christmas!
Presley's Blessing November 26, 2011
With thanksgiving and all the family in town we tried to squeeze in as much as we could, including getting Presley blessed on Saturday. We did it at home, which made it possible for both of Steve's brothers that live out of town to be there. She wore my blessing dress that my Grandma Barker had made me! It wasn't too outdated and she looked adorable! She did so well during her blessing. I was a little nervous she would cry through it since she is on the older side (5 months :) but she did great and luckily she found her thumb right when they were starting! Steve did an amazing job and I am so lucky to have such a great husband and an amazing family!

Thanksgiving Weekend
We had a great thanksgiving weekend! We enjoyed thanksgiving, Steve ended up working so I headed to Heber after we ate at his family's house. Friday we had a little shower for my sister in law Lacey. She is having Twins! I hope tradition doesn't carry on in the family, now his brother and my sister both have twins! Of course I forgot my camera on thanksgiving so this is all i've got from Friday.

Presley's 5 Month Update!
PRESLEY - NOV 23, 2011
My little sweetheart is 5 Months old tomorrow! I am so lucky to be her mom! She is the sweetest little thing and I couldn't ask for a better baby. We started baby food this past month and she loves it! She ate rice cereal for about 2 days and did so well with it I moved her straight to baby food. And she will eat anything you put in front of her.. She still is kind of a tiny little thing with a few rolls on her thighs, maybe she will catch up to the average by her next check up. She is finally getting blessed this Saturday Nov. 26th. There has been so much going on that it hasn't been done. July she was too little August we had so much going on during fast sunday so we said we will do it in september... well in September my mom had her accident October was conference and the hunts and obeginning of November we just had too many conflicts!!! Steve and I have been joking that we can just put her in her high chair and they can put their hands on her head to bless her! She is going to be one tough cookie hanging out with her dad and brother so much. I sometimes wish she could already talk to fill me in on what really goes on during a day. Davin loves her to death and begs to hold her constantly. He is so good with her but sometimes forget she isn't big enough to play. She is rolling all over the house! I will leave her in one spot, come back and have to look for her, usually she has rolled under something. She is just about to crawl and LOVES LOVES LOVES her tummy. If she had a wheel on her forehead she would be out of here. She peels out with her legs drags her head and gets a cute little rug burned nose trying to get around. Poor thing! On the bright side we could dress her up for Rudolph for the holidays! She has never made me lose sleep. I don't really remember the first month but as far back as i can remember i don't ever really remember waking up with her at night. when she was very first born i might have woke up around 4 or 5 to feed her but now she and Davin both have a good routine and go to bed around 8 and Davin is usually up when I leave for work but Presley is always still snoozing away and wakes up around 9. LOVE HER! I am so thankful for a little girl and it is true, girls are different than boys! I am so excited to be able to have girl time with her while dad and Davin are out doing boy things! We love her to pieces but wish she would stay little a little longer!

Nov 18, 2011- I love this guy! I always used to brag to my friends about my grandpa being a "trick rider" and show them all of the pictures we had in an album of him. I mean come on who can ride a horse like this? Although I didn't spend a ton of time with grandpa growing up, the times that we did spend with him were the best! Christmas last year just wasn't the same without him at our house! I am sure he is doing great things where he is but I sure do miss him! Love you grandpa!

Old and New Happenings
Finally getting around to getting a few pictures off of my camera.
Presley started eating baby food and loves it! She is a much better eater than I expected. I guess I am just used to Davin being so picky! She especially loves the Homemade applesauce!
Cute Snoozes
Presley Loves Bath time, and so does Davin. I don't know who is better at flooding the bathroom because they are both pretty good at it!
Davin had his first Dentist appointment. He did really good, he is now the proud owner of a Silver Cap and a missing tooth! We had to have a anesthesiologist come in and put him out to have the work done. The thought of it was a little scary but he did Great! They did it so well. They come out into the waiting room and have him choose toys from the treasure chest with the dental assistant and as he was choosing the anesthesiologist gave him a shot in his arm, a quick little cry and he was heading into la la land! Wow he thought it was pretty funny at first. He did great, but we will be glad to not have to do that again any time soon!
Pretty mean mom :( Ear Piercings, and 2 month old shots all in one day. Poor girl!
This all started at about 3 months.. She had liked her binkey until one day she discovered she had a THUMB and she never went back to her binkey. SHE HATES BINKEYS not just kind of but refuses to take one even if you hold it in! I have bought just about every kind they make to try them out because I am so set on not having a thumb sucker! I can always take a binkey away but the thumb is a little more difficult. Even at 3 months it is difficult to take it away. For a while I would even put her to bed with jammies that had the part that folded over her hands.. but I felt soo bad! As much as I don't like her sucking her thumb, she just looks so sweet and peaceful that i just have to let her do it!
