(Steve and I Waiting for the fun to begin Thusday Morning.)
We were getting so anxious to get Davin here and on Monday when we went to the Dr. he said I was good to have him anytime. So we tried everything from bumpy four wheeler rides ( which hurt really bad when your big belly is bouncing up and down) to McKall's voodoo. I had contractions all week and finally on thursday I told Steve I just wanted to go to the hospital to see if I had progressed at all. When we got there they wanted to know what my symptoms were but really I didn't have any, just contractions every few hours. When they first started talking to me they told me I would probably be going home, but after checking and seeing if anything was going on they found that my water had broke ( who knows when cuz I didn't ). That was exciting news because that meant we got to stay and didn't have to go home. Since I wasn't having contractions they started me on an IV. Labor went smoothly and I thought it was pretty easy, as long as you have an epidural you are smooth sailing. I told steve it was better than Dr. Pepper! and that is hard to beat :) Davin was Born that thursday night June 19 2008 at 7:22 P.M.
