What a difference just a day can make. Her surgeries went well yesterday but left her with a lot of pain after the anesthesia wore off. Today they have finally managed to get mom’s pain under control which has been such a blessing! She has been up for her physical therapy and did amazing. She had her hair combed and is loving any of the pampering that is allowed especially the teeth brushing . She is still in the ICU trauma care unit but hanging in there and amazing us everyday. She received an epidural yesterday before her surgery which is now helping with her rib and back pains and they have given her a new medication today that is lasting a lot longer and helping with the rest of the intense pain. She has started eating slowly which has been helping her improve as well. Still a long road ahead but so glad she is improving by the day. Thanks for all your prayers, they are really helping her to get through this!
